Flakes Aren't Just For Cereal

You know, it’s kinda funny...I woke up to find that the power was out late this morning. I was sure the electric company had finally decided to cut the metaphorical cord, just as I was starting to whittle that $3,000 bill down.

Not even my bloody bill, but it’s too early in the afternoon for THAT rant.

Anyway, turns out it was a widespread thing, and now my dungeon is aglow once again with tech glory.

I guess even the downward spiral has a twisted sense of humor.

Employed Doom

So, I just got home from my last shift at Best Buy, and I'm finding that the sense of immense relief I've had all week is quickly evaporating into utter dismay.

Ironic, that for all my years of bitching about the place, I still want to work there.

Also ironic that I could now finally snag one of those coveted "full time" spots I begged and pined for.

Damn the factory for paying me more.

Damn Best Buy for being way more interesting.

*sigh*

I feel like shit.
