Oh look, she's blogging again.
Not terribly much to add here. I think I'm just afraid that should I leave my blog unattended for too long, bad things will creep out of the wood work. Things like procrastination, stagnation, and let us not forget the very ominous non-existence.
*doom vibes*
Anyway, something I didn't put in my "Things To Do" list last time that I'm surprisingly well on my way to accomplishing: bike 25 miles.
Kinda funny I haven't made mention of it, as biking has become one of my very few "offline" hobbies. I just bought a new one a month or two ago, and it's been getting more use than I had initially imagined. It was kind of a grandiose way of copping out of having to run, which I loathe with near the intensity that I do the color pink.

My initial distances were fairly minuscule, averaging only a mile or two, with several long breathers in between. I must confess, I had forgotten the effort required for such an endeavor, and the wake up call was......masochistic to say the least. My most recent attempt was a much-improved seven miles, with almost no breaks or breathers in between. A far cry from my goal, but still, I'm less the wheeled pansy than I was when I began.
And, just because I have to inject a little morbidity and gloom into everything I do, one of my favorite spots to stop is an old graveyard overlooking some lonely fields. There resides one of the coolest graves I have ever seen. I shall have to post a picture here when I muster up the energy to head over to my Vaio of Doom. The Laptop of Doom, sadly, is grossly unprepared for my foray into the darkness. *sigh*
So there, cruel world, I'm accomplishing something. It's a small something, but it's better than nothing.
